Thimbletack has a nasty temper
Simon, Jared & Mallory GraceThe Grace children, twins Simon, Jared and their older sister Mallory move into Spiderwick Estate with their mother. After moving in, the children discover Uncle Arthur's hidden study. They also discover a book on faeries. A brownie called Thimbletack appears and warns them to not open the book. Otherwise the children will suffer a terrible fate.
The children ignore Thimbletack's warnings and Simon is kidnapped by invisible monsters.
