The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time

The story is written through the eyes of Christopher Boone, a 15 year old boy who is living in England. Christopher suffers from Asperger's syndrome, a high functioning form of autism.

Christopher comes across the neighbour's dead dog, speared by a garden fork. When the neighbour alerted the police, Christopher becomes a suspect. Christopher decides to investigate the incident despite his father's warnings. Christopher investigates and jots down his findings in his "murder mystery novel" book. Throughout his investigation, he experiences many things despite his autism and also meets people. He also learns that his mother's death was a complete lie.

So why did his father lie about his mother?

Look for the book in the reading room. Suitable for upper secondary students and good readers.
