The English Department is currently selecting books to buy for the reading room. Quite a few books have already been selected which include My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult, Slumdog Millionaire, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory/Glass Elevator, Matilda, The Da Vinci Code and Confessions of a Shopaholic which are already made into successful movies. Other books include The 20 yr old Murder Mystery, Chinese Cinderella, The Internet, How to Improve Your Football Skills, Jazzy Jewellery, F1 Racing, Ancient China, People of the World, Spiderwick, Twilight series, Chicken Soup for the Preteen Soul and so on.
If you are interested in reading a book or some books that are not available in the reading room, please write down your suggestions on a piece of paper and hand in to Cg. Hjh Haryati in the English staffroom.
