Twilight is the first book in the series. The first book introduces us to Isabella "Bella" Swan who moves to Forks, Washington to live with her father. Bella also goes to a new high school. In one of her classes, she is seated next to Edward Cullen. Edward seems repulsed by Bella and doesn't acknowledge her much until one day when he saves her from being run over in the school parking lot. How was he able to save Bella in the nick of time when he was far across the parking lot? How did he manage to stop the van? Does Edward have super powers?
