New & Old books in the reading room
If you liked The Cat on the Mat is Flat, then you'd probably want to read the sequel, Big Fat Cow Goes Kapow. It is a book of silly rhymes with funny illustrations. This book is suitable for lower secondary students and anyone who feel the need for some amusement.
Another book that's suitable for Year 7 and 8 students is Top Secret: Pass It On. It's different than other books that we have but it is very funny.
If you are into crime-solving, there's a book called Vanished. The book contains a few true stories about people who have gone missing. This book is suitable for upper secondary students.
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a princess? Diary of a Would Be Princess is available. However it is the second book in the series. Suitable for Year 8 and above.
George's Marvellous Medicine is also available. It is our second copy. Whoever has the other copy, please return it as soon as possible.
We have two fiction books boys will enjoy, Malice and Don't Call Me Ishmael. Both are suitable for Year 9 & above.
If you like cartoons and comics, we have Simpsons Belly Buster. It is the only copy we have so please return it as soon as you have finished reading.
If you are a big fan of music, we have two biographies on Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. Both books are suitable for lower & upper secondary.
If you are interested, we have World's Weirdest Creatures and 100 Dangerous Things on the Planet. Both books contain lots of pictures.
We also bought second copies of Ripley's Believe It or Not and Extreme Records. Whoever has the other copy must return it to the reading room!
All these books were bought using our Scholastic school bonus coupons. We appreciate it if you keep them intact and return them once you've finished reading.
Thank you.
